The 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is seriously underpowered and has a dated interior. Despite standard all-wheel drive, both the 148-hp 2.0-liter engine and the optional 168-hp 2.4-liter engine are disappointing.

As for the interior, it features a dull touchscreen and lots of black plastic. Even the higher trim levels have a bland interior vibe with lots of low-quality materials. The only saving grace for this SUV is that it has a fairly attractive exterior… and an impressive warranty. Beyond that, it lags behind its competitors in every way.
